Everybody’s lookin’ for somethin’ Somethin’ to fill in the holes We think a lot but don’t talk much about it ‘Til things get out of control How do I know when it’s love I can’t tell you but it lasts forever How does feel when it’s love It’s just something you feel together When it’s love You look at every face in a crowd some shine and some keep you guessin’ Waiting for someone to come into focus Teach you your final love lesson Hod I know when it’s love I can’t tell you but it lasts forever How does feel when it’s love It’s just something you feel together (Solo) Oh oh oh oh Oh when it’s love Oh oh oh oh You can feel it yeah Oh oh oh oh Nothing’s missing Yeah (Solo) Oh oh oh oh Oh oh oh oh Oh oh oh oh Nothing’s missing How do I know when it’s love I can’t tell you but it lasts forever How does it feel when it’s love It’s just something you feel together How do I know when it’s love I can’t tell you but it lasts forever When it’s love When it’s love It’ll lasts forever When it’s love You and I We’re gonna feel this thing together When it’s love When it’s love, baby You can feel it, yeah We’ll make it last forever When it’s love.
Genial!!
And you may find yourself living in a shotgun shack And you may find yourself in another part of the world And you may find yourself behind the wheel of a large automobile And you may find yourself in a beautiful house, with a beautiful Wife And you may ask yourself-well...how did I get here?
Letting the days go by/let the water hold me down Letting the days go by/water flowing underground Into the blue again/after the money’s gone Once in a lifetime/water flowing underground.
And you may ask yourself How do I work this? And you may ask yourself Where is that large automobile? And you may tell yourself This is not my beautiful house! And you may tell yourself This is not my beautiful wife!
Letting the days go by/let the water hold me down Letting the days go by/water flowing underground Into the blue again/after the money’s gone Once in a lifetime/water flowing underground.
Same as it ever was...same as it ever was...same as it ever was... Same as it ever was...same as it ever was...same as it ever was... Same as it ever was...same as it ever was...
Water dissolving...and water removing There is water at the bottom of the ocean Carry the water at the bottom of the ocean Remove the water at the bottom of the ocean!
Letting the days go by/let the water hold me down Letting the days go by/water flowing underground Into the blue again/in the silent water Under the rocks and stones/there is water underground.
Letting the days go by/let the water hold me down Letting the days go by/water flowing underground Into the blue again/after the money’s gone Once in a lifetime/water flowing underground.
And you may ask yourself What is that beautiful house? And you may ask yourself Where does that highway go? And you may ask yourself Am I right? ...am I wrong? And you may tell yourself My god!...what have I done?
Letting the days go by/let the water hold me down Letting the days go by/water flowing underground Into the blue again/in the silent water Under the rocks and stones/there is water underground.
Letting the days go by/let the water hold me down Letting the days go by/water flowing underground Into the blue again/after the money’s gone Once in a lifetime/water flowing underground.
Same as it ever was...same as it ever was...same as it ever was... Same as it ever was...same as it ever was...same as it ever was... Same as it ever was...same as it ever was...
Eric Clapton - My Father´s eyes, de su disco One More Car, One More Rider, en vivo.

Monday finds you like a bomb That's been left ticking there too long You're bleeding
Some days there's nothing left to learn From the point of no return You're leaving
Hey hey i saved the world today Everybody's happy now The bad things gone away And everybody's happy now The good thing's here to stay Please let it stay
There's a million mouths to feed And i've got everything i need I'm breathing
And there's a hurting thing inside But i've got everything to hide I'm grieving
Hey hey i saved the world today Everybody's happy now The bad things gone away And everybody's happy now The good thing's here to stay Please let it stay
Doo doo doo doo doo the good thing Hey hey i saved the world today Everybody's happy now The bad things gone away And everybody's happy now The good thing's here to stay Please let it stay
Oh, where oh where can my baby be? The Lord took her away from me She's gone to heaven, so I got to be good So I can see my baby when I leave this world.
We were out on a date in my daddy's car We hadn't driven very far There in the road, up straight ahead A car was stalled, the engine was dead I couldn't stop, so I swerved to the right I'll never forget the sound that night The screamin' tires, the bustin' glass The painful scream that I heard last.
Oh, where oh where can my baby be? The Lord took her away from me She's gone to heaven, so I got to be good So I can see my baby when I leave this world.
When I woke up, the rain was pourin' down There were people standing all around Something warm rollin' through my eyes But somehow I found my baby that night I lifted her head, she looked at me and said "Hold me darling just a little while." I held her close, I kissed her our last kiss I found the love that I knew I would miss But now she's gone, even though I hold her tight I lost my love, my life that night.
Oh, where oh where can my baby be? The Lord took her away from me She's gone to heaven, so I got to be good So I can see my baby when I leave this world.
Algunas "notables":
